Bodhi Citta Buddhist Centre is a non-sectarian Buddhist Centre for all traditions and lineages of Buddhism - Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana - to make available in Far North Queensland the teachings of Buddha Dharma from all traditions. This is a non-profit Buddhist Education organisation

The Centre's founding resident teacher is Laurence-Khantipalo Mills. Achariya Khantipalo is one of the first pioneering teachers of Buddhism in Australia. He was in the Theravada, monastic tradition for over 30 years traveling and teaching extensively in south-east Asia. His knowledge and experience of Buddha Dharma encompasses the facets of Theravada as well as the Mahayana teachings of the Buddha. He teaches with insight into application of Dharma in everyday life in society in Australia.

The various events at the Centre are offered by Achariya. The Centre also hosts visiting teachers, speakers, performers & artists from various Buddhist traditions to give teachings in Cairns.
